Brennen Nicole is a professional landscape and astrophotographer, workshop leader and published author with four books available on Amazon. As a full-time instructor, she specializes in teaching beginners how to confidently capture the night sky through hands-on guidance, accessible techniques and real-world experience in the field.
Brennen is also a passionate dark sky advocate, working to raise awareness about light pollution and to inspire others to connect more deeply with the stars. She leads retreats around the world, with a teaching style rooted in patience, clarity and genuine enthusiasm for helping photographers grow.

Blending Time with Astro-Landscape Photography
This advanced presentation builds on the basics and dives into how modern astro-landscape images are truly created by blending moments in time rather than relying on a single exposure.
Brennen Nichole will explore the difference between blending and compositing, why the distinction matters, and how ethical, intentional blending can elevate your work while still honoring the integrity of the scene. You’ll learn practical techniques such as blue hour blending, median stacking, focal blending and noise reduction, along with when and why to use each approach.
Just as importantly, Brennen will also explore the philosophy behind blending time and how combining different moments can more accurately reflect how we experience the night with our own eyes. You’ll walk away with a deeper understanding of both the technical execution and the artistic intent behind advanced astro-landscape photography.
