Where is the 2026 conference being held?
Four Corners, in the heart of a huge region of dark skies, beautiful landscapes and public lands. Specifically, the conference will be hosted at the Farmington Civic Center, 200 West Arrington Street, Farmington, New Mexico.
What are the dates and times of the 2026 Conference?
Thursday, May 14, 11 a.m. to 8:15 p.m.
Friday, May 15, 11 a.m. to 6:45 p.m.
Saturday, May 16, 11 a.m. to 6:45 p.m.
Sunday, May 17, 11 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
What airports should I consider?
The three most common airports for accessing Farmington are:
Albuquerque International (ABQ)
Durango-La Plata County (DRO)
Four Corners Regional (FMN), with commercial flights to and from Denver International (DEN)
Is lodging included in the in-person conference registration?
No, it is not. You are welcome to choose from any of the variety of lodging options in the area, according to your budget and priorities.
Where do I stay for the conference?
There is a variety of lodging options in the area. Many will put you within easy access to the conference.
What is included in the conference registration?
The Conference + Replays ticket includes all live sessions, four lunches and one dinner, and streaming access to all recorded sessions for one year after the conference ends.
The Replays Only ticket includes streaming access to all recorded sessions for one year after the conference ends.
What’s the weather going to be like?
Farmington, New Mexico, is at 5,473 feet elevation and is high desert. Daytime temperatures will likely be mid-70s F and evenings in the mid-40s. Rain is uncommon and we chose this time of year for favorable dark skies and clear horizons (as much as can be predicted), because we hope you can go out shooting under crisp skies every night.

Is the conference offering workshops or outings?
The conference is providing only the daytime events listed on this website, plus the opening night dinner.
However, sponsors will likely offer nighttime activities, such as the night shoots and star parties some ran at the 2024 conference.
We do strongly encourage that you plan to shoot before, during and after the conference, as the location can’t be beat! So read on. …
Which speakers are holding workshops in the Four Corners area?

My spouse/significant other is not a photographer but is traveling with me; do they have to purchase a ticket to attend?
To attend the conference, yes. But of course they can travel with you and enjoy all the other things that the Farmington area has to offer. If they would like to take part in the meals but not attend the talks, you may purchase a separate Meals Only ticket for them. Email us at nightscaper@nationalparksatnight.com for more information.
