THE POWER OF LOCAL ADJUSTMENTS IN LIGHTROOM

Within a night landscape, the exposure for a rock formation may be different than the exposure for a tree, which may be different than the exposure for a mountain, which may be different than the exposure for a bridge, which is certainly different than the exposure for a lighthouse. While Photoshop used to be considered the only tool worthy of fixing these issues, Lightroom has now advanced along plenty far enough to be just as good—if not even in some cases better—for making local adjustments. Join Chris Nicholson as he takes you on a tour of Lightroom’s greatest and grooviest tools for selecting specific parts of an image to work on independently from others. Soon you’ll be able to ensure that you skies, landscapes, rock formations, trees, mountains and lighthouses look exactly the way you envisioned.
